  In the central area of the operating curve.

• What is a pressure drop?

  Pressure losses caused by friction with the pipe and the accessories of the pump. In this link are specified the pressure drops. 

• How is the friction loss calculated?

  The friction losses are calculated using the load loss abacus. The load losses are specified in this link. 

• Can you start a pump without water?

  It is necessary to prime the aspiration pipeline, the pump should not work without water. You must contact the Technical Service of the area. You can check them on this link.

• What should I do to install a pump?

  You must contact a specialized installer or official technical service. You can check them at this link.

• What is the lifespan of a pump?

  It is estimated a lifespan of 20 years with a proper maintenance.

• How much warranty time does a pump have?

  ESPA offers up to 3 years warranty in Europe for products sold from 01.01.2022 and 5 years for the Silenplus pool pumps if you request a warranty extension. You can request it here. 

   

   

• How many kW is 1 HP?

  1 HP is 0,736 kW.

• Which pump should I use to water my garden?

  You must use the pump depending on your needs, you can inform yourself through the "Which pump do I need?" configurator.

• How can I measure my home pressure?

  You can measure the pressure of your home with a manometer.

• How do I know the flow and pressure I need?

• How do you go from l/min to m³/h?

  It must be multiplied by 0.06.

• What should I do to repair a pump?

  The spare parts are served via SER20 company or through the Technical Services. You can check them at this link.

• When should a pump be replaced?

  You should always contact the Technical Service and they will be in charge of deciding whether the pump should be replaced or can be repaired.

• What does the electric power of a pump mean?

  The power of a pump is the power consuming of the system necessary to operate.

• How is pressure switch regulated?

  To regulate the pressure switch of a pump is recommended reading the instruction manual.

• Which well pump should I buy?

  You must use the pump depending on your needs, you can inform yourself through the "Which pump do I need?" configurator.

• How can preassure of my home be reduced?

  You can reduce your home pressure using a variable-frequency drive or a pressure reducing valve.

• Where should I place the pump?

  You should place the pump close to the aspiration to reduce load losses.

• What should I do if I detect that my pump is not working correctly?

• How do I disassemble a pump?

• How can I detect a pump failure?

  When the water pump fails it becomes evident by the great hydraulic disagreement it causes. The first obvious signs will be the dicrease pressure and/or flow drop, water leaks, random load loss, etc. Any unusual  noise will signal that the pump does not work optimally so we recommend contacting the Technical Service to confirm the failure.

• How do you know how much a pump consumes?

  It is indicaded on the data sheet as P1.

  

• What pressure should the water in a home have?

  Is recommended a pressure of 2,5 bar.

• Where can I vacuum the water?

  You can suck water from a tank, well or water system; you should choose the most appropriate alternative depending on your installation.

   

• Can hydraulic perfomance vary depending on the liquid?

  Yes, depending on the liquid the hydraulic curve could vary.
