GTE Group Acquires BAICO

At ESPA Group, part of Industrias Auxiliares GTE Group S.L., we are pleased to announce the acquisition of Baico Pumps, S.L., a prominent distributor of water pumps and pressure equipment. This operation represents a significant step in our growth strategy and will enable us to complement our product portfolio, as well as increase the presence of our solutions in the more than 100 countries where we currently operate.

Industrias Auxiliares GTE Group, which acquired the majority shareholding of ESPA Group in 2022, continues to strengthen its position in the global market through this new acquisition. With the integration of Baico, we will not only improve our product offering but also expand our global customer base. Baico, which currently has an annual turnover of 4 million euros and exports to over 18 countries, will continue to operate under the leadership of Joan Nierga, who, with more than forty years of experience in the sector and twelve years at the helm of Baico, will ensure the continuity and growth of the company.
